Items
Identify your product/item.
Example: TV, Couch, BBQ, Shirt, etc.
Pictures
Be sure to take pictures of the top, sides, back and bottom of your product/item. These need to be clear images. Photos are required of any dents, scratches, and imperfections, as well as the name/brand/size/model as it appears on the product/item. The clearer the picture, the easier it is to sell your products and items.
- Fill the frame. The product should take up as much space in the photograph as possible.
- Shoot at a slight angle, rather than straight on. This will give the item depth.
- Show the object properly. Don’t take upside down photographs, place your item at a weird angle, or otherwise confuse things. The item should be immediately visible and identifiable.
- Take lots of photos. Get shots of the sides and back, and any important details. They won’t be the main photos, but you might need to get extra detail shots to avoid any surprises for the buyer.
- Watch the background. You want the object to stand out. If it blends with the background, use a table cloth or piece of coloured card so it’s easy to see.
- Don’t use portrait or HDR mode. Smartphone cameras can apply a lot of computational and effects—you can skip them here. It is unlikely they’ll give you good results and will only distract from representing the item realistically.
- Only take photos during the day. You want as much light as possible. If it’s dark, the images won’t look as good.
Condition
Please indicate the condition of your product/item. New, Used – Like New, Used – Good, Used – Fair, etc.
The quality of the items is based on if there are any dents, scratches, imperfections, working condition, broken or loose parts, etc. Relevant photos are required for any of these noted conditions. Be sure to include this as it appears on the product or item when you submit your pictures.
Please include specifics, for example: Used – Fair with dents and scratches to the top left side of the laptop.
Make/Brand/Model
Be sure to include any serial numbers, models, makes, or SKUs. Also helpful is the store where it was purchased. Be sure to include this as it appears on the product or item when you submit your pictures.
Example: Nike – Air Jordan – XVIII

Example: Purchased in 2010, 2009 Model.
Measurements
It is very important to have accurate measurements of all items in feet and inches. This includes the length, width or depth, and height of the item. Potential buyers are looking for the measurements as follows.
Example: Height 2’6″, Depth 1’5″, Length 5’1″
Sizes
The size of an product/item is key. Identifying if it is XL, Large, Med, or Small, or the appropriate size (7, 10, 32, 42, etc.) is needed so that buyers know what you have to offer. Be sure to include this as it appears on the product or item when you submit your pictures.
